Mr. Lynch began his surveying career in 2000, with a small firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has had the privilege of working for several distinguished Land Surveyors in the Bay Area and the San Diego, accumulating surveying knowledge and skills through mentoring and self-study. Currently Mr. Lynch is the Survey Department Manager for a structural, civil, survey and land planning firm located in San Diego. He is responsible for all land surveying, mapping and construction staking activities.

Mr. Lynch obtained his California Professional Land Surveyor License in 2007, passing the exam on the first attempt. He is the California Land Surveyors Association, San Diego Chapter 2010 President and also serves as a Co-Instructor for the Chapters Land Surveyor Review Session, teaching the Subdivision Map Act and Land Surveyors Act to candidates. Mr. Lynch is currently preparing to take the Certified Federal Surveyor exam through the Bureau of Land Management. In his free time he enjoys hiking, fishing and traveling with his wife and 2 year old daughter.

Believing the Land Surveying professional is the only educated and trained expert in the retracement of title boundaries and that the public trust is being damaged from a lack of a statutory land surveying standard of care has brought Mr. Lynch to LSACTS. Mr. Lynch has specific goals to improve the reputation of land surveyors, educate real estate, architectural and construction professionals in the value land surveyor’s bring to projects, and protect the land surveying industry for future generations.
